Googlings
As mentioned in my first blog post, it's now time to add some of my google searches, my reasons behind them and the eventual site I clicked on.

Why:
I have no phoneline in my flat and I prefer it that way. But what to do about internet access? Well, Mobile Broadband is the answer, for me.
I was on contract with '3' but that came to an end in February so seeing as though I had the broadband dongle already, I thought I'd go over to Pay As You Go (PAYG)....which incidentally works out cheaper for me. (I won't go off on one about the fact that companies charge you for NOT paying by Direct Debit...grrr)
I phoned the '3' Customer Services and asked how much it'd be for me to get a Mobile Broadband SIM on PAYG.....they told me it wasn't possible to use my existing dongle (on contact) with PAYG so I'd have to buy a brand new dongle and go from there. I knew that was absolute bo***cks though so went onto eBay and got myself a SIM for £0.99 including P&P...bargain!
So, I got my broadband SIM and top-up and it seems to me the PAYG service isn't as good as contract. Surely that cannot be?! Ah, but I'm sure it is.
You see, with PAYG I seem to get cut off every half an hour or so, then I have to spend 15 minutes trying to connect, restarting laptop, disconnecting dongle, reconnecting.....and finally it connects. Never had that problem with it on Contract.
Otherwise, it's very handy. Compared to non-mobile broadband it isn't really cheap. I pay £10 for 1GB and gives you a month to use it. I usually go over that so might start buying the £15 - 3GB top-up.
I was toying with the idea of moving to Vodafone as their speeds and service are apparently better, but that would mean spending out on a new dongle or messing around with the existing one and to be honest, I'd rather just go with the easy option!
Search Two:
Why?
I was watching Red Nose Day 2009 and there was a song I wanted but didn't know the name or artist. I had an inkling it was Adele so searched for that.
I went to http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00j6312 but couldn't find out the name of the song, it just mentioned a special performance by Adele.
So I went a few results down and found http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Nose_Day_2009#Musical_Performances which states that Adele sang "Make You Feel My Love".
I couldn't find the actual performance on Red Nose Day but went to YouTube and found the video which can be found here. A beautiful song, in my opinion :-)
That's all for now, I'll post more soon.
Kelly
